Race your robots at break-neck speeds as you overtake another.. Take the shortcut but it may not work... Take the long way and you lose time... The smell of burnt rubber filling your nostrils... Got your adrenaline pumping??? We sure did... Welcome to “Death Race” where there is no escape!!

This is a manually controlled robotics “one-on-one” event.

The robots will have to race across a multiple terrains including sand, stone, water and mud. It will have to climb up/ down slippery inclinations, negotiate tight right angle turns and hurtle its way over bumpers.

The bot must conform to the following dimensions:
Length: 30cm
Breadth: 20cm
Height: 20cm

The arena will be revealed on the first day of the fest. The bot must have the capability to do each of the above.

There will be no time-outs in the event.

The maximum size of the team is 4. But only one person can control the bot at any instant of time.

The robot to reach the deadline fastest will be adjudged the winners.

The participants maybe of same or different colleges.

The participants will be provided with a 220V single phase power supply. However the robots cannot use more than 30V at any instant.

Participants may use wirelessly controlled robots but SRIJAN 2012 will not be responsible for any interference caused.

The decisions of the judges will be final and binding.
